Frequently asked questions

Is this an official Dave’s Hot Chicken calculator?
No. Hot Chicken Nutrition is an independent website not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Dave’s Hot Chicken. Data comes from their publicly available nutritional guide PDF.
Does spice level affect calories?
Yes, for most meal items. Mild to Reaper variants typically have slightly more calories and fat than Not Hot / Lite Mild. The calculator shows both so you can compare.
Are Feed A Crowd values for one person?
No. Hot Box items are sharing portions for 5–10 people. The calculator flags these with a warning when added to your meal.
Why is sodium not shown?
The source PDF uses UK/EU labelling which lists salt (NaCl) rather than sodium. Converting is an approximation so sodium is not displayed to avoid misleading values.
